Included in the monthly price, because a website that nobody maintains becomes a liability within about two years.
What's included
Hosting, SSL, security updates, uptime monitoring, and small changes as the business changes — new services, updated hours, a phone number, seasonal work.
What counts as a small change
Up to a couple of changes a month, which covers almost everything real. Anything larger gets quoted before we start, never after.
Why sites rot
The typical contractor site is a WordPress install with a dozen plugins that stopped receiving updates. Ours have no plugins and no database, so there's a much smaller surface for anything to go wrong on.
